Area Description
Decaying trees, distorted with age and evil, draped in moss and moisture, enclose the paths of this ancient forest. The bones of forgotten warriors lie scattered beneath its rotting floor, thorns and briars reaching up to entwine the unwary traveler. Nearby, a swollen, poisoned river licks at the crumbling walls of a battered fortress. An aura of twisted evil rises from the area, enfolding the forest in a formless, brooding mist.
