The Decimal Numeral System
The Code Council, ever diligent in its pursuit of arcane numerical lore, has
delved deep into the works of the legendary mathematician Giovanni Bianchini
(who probably never imagined his life’s work would end up in a news item).
Through our scholarly endeavors, we have unlocked the mystic powers of the
decimal numeral system – a system so wondrous its practically magic (but still
counts as math).
Behold! You can now wield decimals with ease when tossing around your hard
-earned gold.
For example: ‘give 1.2m coin Duke-Luther’ will pass 1.2m coins to Duke Luther!
Decimals can be used in conjunction with:
- k = thousands (e.g. ‘give 1.5k coin Sarakin’)
- m = millions (e.g. ‘auc bid 3.4m’)
- b = billions (though if you’re spending billions, you are practically asking
to be robbed).
This newfound decimal mastery works for bank transactions, auctions, and
bidding on homes.
Please let an immortal know if there are any issues. Thanks to Caribbea for
the idea.
