Clans are a society within Realms composed of a group of players which have joined together under a common cause. If you are a member of a clan you have the ability to pkill other deadly players outside of your own clan. Depending on the clan you join, you may be asked to follow a set of rules dictated by the clan’s leaders. The current clans of the game are Ombra, Mortiferis, and Anarchs.
Non-deadly players may join a deadly clan after being turned into a deadly player by a level 57+ immortal, however when the character is outcasted it remains deadly.

Long ago, a necromantic clan of shadowy practitioners and their legions of umbral sentinels ruled the deadly realm. These notoriously foul beings were well known to their enemies as the Shadowcult. They stalked their prey from the dark, always watching and waiting for the most opportune times to strike
with their foul magicks and elite fighting corps. It was a long held belief that The Shattering had destroyed their kind, those who held that belief were gravely mistaken.
The old necromancers, now estranged from their home had been in hiding. Using their mastery of the shadows, they concealed their presence. For decades they searched for the Temple of Shadows, the spiritual home and source of their necromantic enlightenment. Their immense homesickness and lust for power drove them to near extinction. After much despair and suffering, the Temple of Shadows was found.
In returning home the stygian refugees found a cartel of elite brigands, the Mortiferis, had taken up residence in the sacred temple that was once the seat of power for their dark swarm. The Mortiferis relentlessly defended the hearth and treasure hoard of the practitioners as their own. Enraged, the necromancers and their warring forces rose from the shadows as Ombra, a clan sworn to the evisceration of the usurper squatters. The Ombra take up their arms in a blood vengeance to destroy the Mortiferis and seek reclamation of their sacred home and the treasures held within.

The Mortiferis are an elite group of brigands and murderers. The clan has a deeply rooted reputation for wanton violence and destruction. When the Mortiferis are out, no one is safe. Their presence has led to on going disruptions to the peace on the Isle of Nethescuros. Due to the secretive nature of the clan, little else is actually known about them.
It is rumoured that upon the fall of the old clans, a group of powerful killers accidently stumbled across the abandoned ruins of the Nominis Umbra. Buried inside the ruins was a vast fortune of treasure and armour that had been left behind by the previous occupiers. The loot was too vast to be moved. So, the band of killers formed the Mortiferis and took the Temple of Shadows as their own.
Anarchs
Dominance Through Chaos
Life is full of instruction. Through instruction, laws, and order, those in power seek to control those without. The weak crave instruction, for it panders to their insecurities. The strong manipulate power to advance their goals and agendas.
But not for the Anarchs. This secretive sect rejects all such practices. For a world without masters is the only world in which one is truly free.
It is rumored that the Anarchs were spawned within the ancient ruins of the Scorned. Long thought to be dead – not merely dormant – the beckonings of evil within the Malevolent Machinations have given rise to a new force. A force dedicated to taking over the Isle of Nethescuros through anarchy.
