Spring Renewal
The Island once again has blossomed with fragrant flowers, lively birds,
freshly budding trees, and playful winds. Light rain showers have washed away
almost all traces of bloodshed and carnage, leaving a sense of peaceful
renewal. Whispers among the Elves speak of a hope for a peaceful year. While,
the late arrival of the butterflies did cause some worry, they finally arrived
in an overabundance. Thankfully the Elves banded together and caught the
hungry butterflies before they ate all the newly bloomed flowers!
Vermicio Missing?
Much time has passed since the Doom Pixie King's last decree. While no elf
dare say that he has gone, the winds carry whispers of his curious silence and
what that may mean for the Elves.
Construction Continues
Sleek vessels continue to patrol the waters surrounding Irrybis, while the
evidence of more construction continues. Under the command of Palinor, by
decree of Tari Annale, the Elven army has begun mobilizing itself. The Circle
of Magi have also been summoned in the mobilization orders.

(OOC) Elven Quest!
An Elf-only quest was held on Sunday, May 24th! Many thanks to all those who
participated! It was a little change of pace from our recent poker runs, but
hopefully everyone enjoyed themselves!
After 3 rounds of butterfly catching, all the butterflies were rounded up.
Our winners, based on number of butterflies caught in round 2 and 3, are:
With 16 caught: Methras! (AV Elf Cleric)
With 12 caught: Jimothy! (AV Elf Warrior)
With 7 Caught: Eisengrim! (50m gold)

As there has been no communique from the leadership of the Free Peoples for
some time, there has been unsettling questions among the Uruk'hai Council.
Also, the hardships of a constant alert status and troop mobilized has put a
strain on the Uruk'hai economy. Discussions by the Council continue.
Dateline DarkHaven - Pandas Invade Realms
There have been several reports of pandas appearing in the Realms. Varied in
color and size, they are alledged to be biding their time eating leafy plants.
Be wary of these creatures, no one knows for sure their purpose.
Dateline Opallinoc - Exploring Rumors
Volstagg the Catacomb Dweller has been weeping and gnashing his teeth over a
number of seemingly unsolvable puzzles in the Realms. Among those are :
Whose doll is in the trash of Camden?
Does the Falcon's Nest Tavern really possess a secret?
What does Big Janklin search for?
Dateline Northern Plains - Eltor Beasts
There seems to be an eltor beast in the Northern Plains that gives up an 'eltor
skin'. Could this skin have some use by the Inahir? Does it make an item?

The Vale remained out of realm and under the ancient spell, but being cut off
from the outside world was proving stressful to several citizens who have
friends in other nations.
As the isolation continues, it has been decided that scouts would be sent back
by a portal formed by the mages to gather information on the war and see if
any resistance to the scurge had formed and if it was succeeding.
Once that information was gathered, they would send word to the vale using
journey tomes. There would be no going back for them until the vale itself
returned.

While no official word has been released from Vermicio, rumours are in
abundance. It is rumoured that Vermicio has gone to the killing fields, but no
one really knows for sure.
In his absence, Annale, his betrothed, is rumoured to have stepped up, pushing
the Free Peoples ideals forward. The Armies of the Free Peoples are to be
mobilized immediately, for deployment soon. War is on the horizon, Freedom must
be brought to all Nations. It is rumoured that Annale wishes to expand the Free
Peoples as a wedding gift to the Doom Pixie King when he returns.

So I know I promised to get the Cry out on time, and I've failed miserably, but
we're working on! This issue is a little small because of it - I'll blame work,
IRL, laziness, life, and uh.. the color yellow, for the lateness of this issue.
