Realms of Despair

The Wolf’s Den

Author

Siporta

Level Range

10 – 30

Area Description

As cities, towns, and trade routes encroach more and more into the old forgotten forests, the woodland creatures and man begin to encounter each other more. Some of the denizens of these woods have never seen a man and have no fear of him, making them easy targets. A few other forest creatures see the smaller ‘animal’ as prey and will attack if they are hungry. Many more are just protecting their young from the unknown. These are the most dangerous of all.

As stories spread of previously unknown and supposedly magical creatures, hunters venture out in hopes of a rare kill.

Many traders and adventurers who have traveled the Northern Trade Route in the late evening and night swear to have seen a large wolf with glowing silver fur prowling the forest between milestones 10 and 20.
