Well, many of you happily told us to go away, but \nthose who took the time to answer had the option of remaining anonymous. \nSome decided that they wanted to remain anonymous for the fact that if \nby some miracle they ever sought to become immortal, they wouldn't have \na bad rep. Without further adieu, here are the, oft comical, responses.\n \n \nWhat would you do\/change if you were immortal?\n \nZeikle: me? :P I'd like to work with pkill some, try to revive it... \n        really interested in building too, and working on new classes\n        and class revisions\n \nGarlain: no comment\n \nSomeone: i would make leveling easier! (lowbie) :)\n\nEolis: find away to make pkills more attractive for the \n       peaceuls to get involved there, more guilds stuff. Guilds kinda don't \n       have much to go on as is -- more interguild stuff, and even some\n       interguild\/order stuff\n \nDarklund: i dont really know\n \nSomeone: im not really sure... ive never thought about it.\n\nKuah: hah.. I would place the CoD staff in charge of most everything\n \nSomeone: i would make it easier for people to become immortal\n         because i think there are a lot of people that would make good \n         immortals.\n \nPix: the help files there useless (Would change them)\n \nAmoria: I'd probably do a lot of PR :P\n        keep in close touch with the mortals. Communicate.\n \nSomeone: when i imm ill tell you\n \nKyrnia: well, I'd definitely want to do more work with NC,\n        the newbie tower\/new hq, and also work on newbie\/lowbie quests'\n        Build an area, slay some annoying people, you know,\n        all that fun stuff :)\n        make a little love, it's all good\n \nNoCtUrNe: I would like to boost up the old Quests\n          I think the quests nowadays are too short, and \n          without storyline mostly\n \nJando: For selfish reasons, I would try to organize a new \n       area representing Australia.\n \nSomeone: First, I would fix that bug with guardian vamps - it's \n         really annoying\n         \n         Second, I would fix the arena container scrap bug. \n         Nothing is supposed to scrap in arena'\n         \n         Also, I would take the side that is lobbying for the \n         elimination of DTs. Let these room kill you, but keep your corpse \n         intact You must supplicate corpse - ok, but don't destroy your\n         possessions I have seen too many people quit this game because \n         they lost items they had spent years to get DTs are clearly \n         reducing the fun of this game. They must go\n\nSomeone: ToL's always crowded, more areas at lvls 35 - 50 plz :D\n \nSomeone: First kill policy should be changed, it makes people compete \n         for mobs.\n \nSomeone: Classes aren't equal, some classes have very few skills or useful \n         traits.\n \nSomeone: I think crowded areas take away from the fun of the game\n \nSomeone: Paladins should have grip.\n \nSomeone: I'd also hold the RoD annual Quantum Spike Quaff till you Drop \n         marathon race\n \nSomeone: I would try to improve relations between the mortals and the\n         immortals.  Lately there seems to have been a disintegration \n         in involvement that I feel makes the mud a more fun place to be.  \n         I remember when imms used to be more publicly active other than \n         pkills, and to me it was more fun.'\n \nSomeone: I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I might\n         get balzhured\n \nChantria: We could have it so that you could go to tythia (sp?) \n          or thoric and say spells please and get leveling spells from \n          them..level 2-15'\n\nSomeone:  i'd prolly streamline rp'ing, maybe set aside an rp area'\n \nAlabaster: i wouldn't imm\n \nSomeone: i'd probably try to balance out the av eq for evils and devo\n \nSimone: one thing for sure... you know how there are level restriction\n        for people too high of a level to enter certain areas? I would \n        sorta do the opposite to prevent too low level chars entering \n        places they surely wouldn't survive\n \nEros:  i would try to change the whole p-leveling scenario just like \n       the happy d-orb and multiying but for p-leveling not multiying, \n       the idea of a 21 year old av is disturbing and takes some of the\n       fun out of the mud, and to sell it for eq, defeats the purpose of \n       having it on a mob, and avoiding the challenge\n \nSomeone: I would remove death traps from the game. It is the last thing\n         non player related that ruins the mud.\n \nBelmore: hmm...make me an imm and lets see what i change :P\n \nSomeone: I'd abuse the hell command, so don't print my name :)\n \nRasmussen: actually i would code an arena where people didnt need an imm\n           to host it, there would be basic rules there like no disarm\n           and no looting and all that. Have it like the old arena used\n           to be long long ago...people just walk in and kill each other\n \nGultar: hmmm, good question, couple o peeps on my hit list i'd take care of\n \nTalanthus I'd make thieves more useful. Muds were more fun when the best\n           party was one of each character type. That is not the case\n           here. I was nearing the top of the great tower, when\na fiery shadow lept from the darkness and stabbed me in the back.  My mind\nbegan whirring instantly, as I quickly quaffs my magical black potion, and\nassumed a fighting stance.  This cursed being's backstab damaged me only\nslightly and I laughed in its horrid face.  I can't really call it a face\nthough.  Half rotting green skin was hanging from its face, and there were\nmaggots crawling in and out its eye sockets, which no longer contained\neyes.  Its nose was a mess of bloody flesh, and as it sneered, blood\nsplatted accross the room.  It floated slightly off the ground, and drops\nof blood, puss, and mucus, dripped off its dark black cape.  It wheezed\nand growled at me as I started to chant, and I entwined the foul beast in\na funnel of ethereal energy.  The flaming wrath twitch back in awe of my\nmagic, and I closed my eyes and began chanted once again.  I raised my arms\nhigh above my head and let out a blood-curdling wail.  The boundries of\ntime began shifting and a swirling vortex opened within the foul beast.  It\nlet out a pitiful wail.  What was left of its midsection began to swirl\nand tear apart before my very eyes.  Blood started squirting out its ears,\neyes holes, and mouth and it choked and gagged on its own blood.  I cackled\ninsanely as, all at once, its magled body exploded from the strain,\nshooting mass amounts of blood and demolished flesh about the room.  Blood\nflowed like a river all accross the floor.  Millions of tiny maggots\ncrawled about, released from the evil being's decaying body.  All that\nremained of the demon was a battered pulp of a head. Started by the Ceirana,\nthe GuildMaster, this program assigns a certain mob\nto which the guild members are to kill and donate the\nequipment to the donation room. For example, many new\navatars entering into the guild have use of Shade eq,\nso that was one of our duties. The guild came through\nin a smashing success and the Humble Offerings now are\nstocked with Shade eq. The Council of Druids is also \ncompiling a list of things that should go into our \ndonation room. The lower chest filled only with items\nthat someone leveling has use for, and the higher crate\nfilled only with that which an avatar can reasonably\nmake use of. The Other mobs thus far have included Artemis, \nBrunhilde, Thoth, and Horus\/Sphinx.\n \nThe (CoD) Council of Druids has now become the (DHC) Druid\nHigh Council. I was pure \nevil, yet I was empty. But one day I met my match, a powerful lord of the \nrealm tempted me to attack him, a vampire was he, the ones who taught me \nhad told me: \"Beware of a vampire's bite, for it will turn you into his \nslave, and one of their brethren\". I am living proof of that, my wickedness \nwas retaliated by many, my powers were diminished, my stature was lowered. \nI had to regrow, I was taken under the care of Celia, who soon married \nPaine, they both made me partly who I am today they helped me control the \nanger and evil inside of me to create a more powerful self. Then I met \nNicki, the one creature I couldn't bear myself to slay, the light of my \nlife, the brightening of my soul. I achieved what my people called \n\"fragalan\", or what roughly translates as \"serenity\". I joined the Cry of \nDespair as part of my fragalan, it has helped me achieve it, after five \nhundred years of searching.
