Be happy and all! =)\n\n==============================================================================\n                                                      Page: 9\n==============================================================================\n\n\n\n==============================================================================\n   Aslan's Area Review Of The Month                           By: Aslan\n==============================================================================\n\nCoral depths is that sort of area that everyone spends time in but not \neveryone either gets the theme or enjoys the sheer fun of fighting under the\nOcean or fighting Mermaids. Coral Depths has a few great points and a major\nweakness that seems to not help promote its ability to help new characters \nlevel from around eight to mid-twenties. The first thing to understand about\nCoral Depths is that it isn't really Atlantis (Although an Atlantis area \nwould be a great addition). It is a water filled kingdom consisting three\nmain sections. You have the beach, which contains a vital store and many\ngulls and crabs. The second part to CD is under the ocean, with many fish,\nsharks, a hidden cave and easily a few hours worth of levelling fun. Lastly \nwe have mertown and the mer-keep which has a school and a royal family, along\nwith a store and hand objects that can be found whilst exploring. With all \nthis being said CD does have a weakness in that it is over-populated by \nbotting drones, looting the gold from the crab guards and eels. Coral Depths\nhas a high population of avs and explorers alike and the botting issue is \none that most players will not really notice if they plan only a quick visit.\n    Coral Depths is a fun diversion from exploring the mountains, forests,\nlakes and cities around the realms, there is little danger of a death trap\nand hours of fun for the seasoned or new players. I would give it the \nfollowing ratings below, which I hope will be of help when deciding where to\nlevel. He's part of the Empty head\nmini-quest, which is a great run to do with friends. Lots of time to talk\nwith company, and you get a cool reward for it. Anyway, I'd vamp-up Darkhaven\ninto a large metropolis so at least we'd have a colesseum, so we don't have to\nrun into the bushes to fight :P And who can forget a nice high-class \nrestaurant so at least people can go on a date there *wink*!\n \nMr X\nIf I could change anything, I would make Midway open a lot more, then \neveryone could enjoy the puzzles, jousting, and all the games. Even the best of us have made a \nslip or two at some point. Here are a few tips and tricks that will, \nhopefully, keep you from falling into a potential trap.\n \n- Check the price often! The quickest and easiest way to get the current\nmarket value on an item is to ask for a price check, or \"PC\" on the \ntraffic channel. But don't always believe what you hear! It's best to wait\na few hours, or a day or two, and ask again. Make sure the prices you get\ncoincide.\n \n- Give the item a good look before paying! If you followed my advice from\nlast month, then you either know the item's stats, or know where to find\nthem quickly. Check to make sure the item you are about to buy is the\ncorrect one. Also, check to make sure that the item is not \"etched\". This\noccurs when a mob's spells or breath damages an item in such a way that it\npermanently lowers the item's armor class. If the item is not handed to you\nup front by the seller, ask to see it and identify it (either with a spell,\nor a magical tablet). If the seller is not willing to do so, perhaps they\nare not someone you'd like to do business with. Of course, on the other side\nof the coin, if you hand someone an item and they disappear without paying,\ndon't expect much help from an Immortal; they tend to stay out of such \ndisputes (see 'help trade').\n\n==============================================================================\n                                                      Page: 23\n==============================================================================\n\n\n\n==============================================================================\n   The Ups And Downs Of Trading: The Dark Side                By: Thivia\n==============================================================================\n\n- Patience REALLY is a virtue! Say, for instance, you find out that the price\non an item you're looking for is 15 million coins. You've been trafficing,\nand watching auction... to no avail. One day, someone responds to you, but is\nonly willing to sell for 20 million. Should you buy it? I'll leave that up to\nyou to decide. It's really a matter of how badly you need it, and how long \nyou're willing to wait. But don't get mad when you buy for 20, then see one \nsell on auction the next day for 10.
