They may be silent, or may rise above\n     the crowds. However they are known, they are, and forever shall be...\n \n                                 The Heroes.\n\nThere are many members of the Mortal community who, every day, show total and\nselfless dedication to this game, if for nothing more than to make one person,\noften a stranger, happy. These people may be recognised amongst their friends,\nbut often go unnoticed amongst the flood of players.\n \nThis July, the Herald Assembly will be introducing the Hall of Renown, a\nlisting of all the great players that have over time dedicated themselves to\nthis game in some way. These people will be known as \"Heroes\", and respected\nas such.\n \nThe next few pages will explain how the Hall of Renown will be brought into\nthe game, and how you or your peers can claim a place in the eternal rankings.\n\n==============================================================================\n                                                                 Page: 2\n==============================================================================\n\n\n\n==============================================================================\n   HA Announcement: The Hall of Renown\n==============================================================================\n\n1. What is a \"Hero\"?\nA. A Hero is the term given to those who have been inducted into the Hall of\n   Renown. These people are also awarded with the rank of \"Hero\" so that their\n   accomplishment may be recognised by the entire MUD.\n \n2. How do I become a Hero?\nA. To be inducted into the Hall of Renown, a person must be nominated to the\n   Herald Assembly by a peer. A person cannot nominate themselves. Each year,\n   all the nominees will be judged based on their committment and dedicated to\n   the game during their time here, and if successful, a handful of nominees\n   will be inducted.\n \n3. How do you judge the nominees?\nA. Nominees will be judged based on how they have contributed to the game.\n   There are eight categories which a player will be judged on:\n      * Council Contributor          * Guild\/Order\/Clan Contributer\n      * Organisation Leader          * Frequent Quester\n      * Skilled PKiller              * Skilled Runner\/Mob Killer\n      * Skilled Explorer             * Frequent Helper (Ask Channel, CR's etc.)\n   Nominees do not have to be active in all these areas, but must be active in\n   a substantial way to be considered for the Hall of Renown.\n\n==============================================================================\n                                                                 Page: 3\n==============================================================================\n\n\n\n==============================================================================\n   HA Announcement: The Hall of Renown\n==============================================================================\n\n4. It is unknown what this object\nmay be or even where it is, it cannot be determined if this rumor is true or\nthe fanciful tale of a passerby.\n\n    In better news, the Elohai and Hobbits have formed an alliance between\nthe two nations. Supplies are already being gathered from the orchards and\ncrops to send as an offering of gratitude. A promise of peace and aid has been\nforged along with the hope that both nations shall prosper from the agreement.\n\n    The Aerandir have also invited the Elohai to venture into their\nhometown with the offer of trade and peace as well. With the renewed strength\nof the Elohai and the near completion in the  rebuilding of Eldestra, the\nnewly aquired treaties between the Halfling and Sea-elves can only further the\ngrowth within the nation.
