A beast that takes more\nthan it needs to live will soon find it has wasted what it needed to\nsurvive.  The barbarians, who live as the beast does, know this as fact.\nThey fail to comprehend how the towndwellers, with their bizarre\nmagics and supposed book-wisdom, can not understand.  To the barbarians,\nthe decadence and selfishness of the towndwellers seems foolish.  A life\nwhere the best interest of the individual surpasses the survival of the\ntribe is unthinkable.  Though towndwellers would consider the barbarian\nlife uncivilized and crude, it is a simpler way of life based on\ntradition, honor and duty to the spirits.  The strength, courage and\nhardiness of the barbarian is honored only when it serves these beliefs.\n       <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>\nBarbarians live in a daily struggle for survival.  Strength is their\nforemost requirement, but constitution to endure long hunts and harsh\nliving is a close second.  Barbarians do not waste their time on idle\npursuits like study and are deficient in intelligence as a result.  As\nsuch they are unable to read or recite scrolls. I found it very\ninformative and I hope you do too.\n \nThis months type is Literate Roleplay\n \nLiterate Roleplay\n \nLiterate roleplaying is similar to semi-literate and novella in a way: it goes\nmore in depth with what the character your playing as is doing, feeling and\npossibly saying\/thinking. Instead of simply typing something like the\ncharacter walking to a coffee shop, the person writing would go deeper into\ndetail, its kind of like writing a short story. Many literate roleplayers\nwould think of different adjectives and verbs to use, just to add more\ndescriptions into your starters or replies. It also adds onto the plot and\ngives the other person a better insight of whats going on in the plot, not to\nmention a good reply if the other person is invested into the roleplay and\nsomething to picture in your mind when reading.\n \nNormally, semi-litertate roleplayers would be more simple and short with\nreplies and starters, literate roleplayers would think of different ways to\nlengthen the reply\/starter to make it more interesting to read. When reading\na literate reply or starter, its a bit normal to see stuff like thoughts the\ncharacter had at the time, maybe some detail on how the ground felt when the\ncharacter was walking on it, or how the character was as a person overall. When\ntyping up a storm, the ideas are endless. Even the longest reply\/starter a\nliterate may send could seem short to them, to others though, it looks like a\nstory that could be interesting to read.\n \nExample:\n \nA tanned brunette boy going by the name of Eren Jaeger was walking in the\ndimly lit barracks. It had been five years since that day, the day he lost\neverything. After long years of self reflection he had finally pushed his\nenergy in the right direction, pushed the determination into something that\ncould save humanity. It was not before long that an unnecessarily colorful glass\ntumbler of two shots arrived before him Sincerely the black knight looked to\nMarcello, and did not speak a word as he set three silver coins aside the glass\nand lifted it. It was then, that he tucked the banner down to his throat to\nempty the glass in his gullet.\n \nIt poured through him bearing such untraceable reactions to his drinking that\nonly the faint 'clink' of glass against the bared countertop would escape near\nhim. Although the scents soon arose, as having found some social custom in\ndrinking, and gradually the subterfuge of sparse crystal shed light gave his\neyes quite the advantage. In this light, his flesh grew no darker when he\nextended and drew from the shadows. The comfortable setting gave way to the \nrise of scents, and death, old death. [Deasthrom]\n \nHalah laughs nervously. There was still bad blood between the two lands, and he\nknew there were few political tricks up his sleeve to bend the will of these\nnewly manufactured nobles. More talk of his\nprecious land and title... it never seemed to cease.\n \nHer smile gives way to a playful grin, and she extends a pale hand out in\ninvitation toward the empty seat facing her. \"Please, join me.\" If it was land\nand nobility that entranced her husband so, perhaps she'd deliver him a gift\nof her own.\n \nWaiting until the man had taken his proper seating the Marquessa toys a slow\nfinger at the base of the red votive. \"Before we may speak of treaties or pact,\nSignore, you must assure me of your title and station that bear your right to\nsuch a request.\"\n \nThe anger welled up from the corner of the inn, dangerous politics they were,\nand yet, somehow this excited him. The shadows thickened and bubbled around the\nLion in his mix of pleasure and fury.\n \nArising from the comforts of the bar, the black knight reached his right hand\nto the left drape of his sash. He tossed it over his head and it hung by his\nright shoulder as a squared cloak. With the graceful movements of a most\nuncanny balance the drow danced his way, heel to toe, to where the tumulting\ndarkness rose against the off light. He did not approach though, yet idly \nconcealed himself by, turning his ear and an eye unseen the matter. It was not\nhard to identify his own kin, as his heart soon longed and did quell the throb\nagain quickly, and then he lay as a most devious trap.\n \nIt was the shadows of course, drawing him closer.
