Sanctum of the Arcanes

From atop the Darkhaven Observatory I spied into Crystalmir Lake. From here I
could see that the edifice of the Arcanes has been torn down and built anew.
A sprawling shining beacon no more, this utilitarian base eschews its former
trappings in order to focus on a pursuit of greater magicks.

To this end the Arcanes have now enlisted the one group of spellcasters they
had previously not received: vampires.

I will watch from afar with interest to see if this gambit succeeds or fails.
