Greetings all Hobbits and those who wish they were hobbits.
We have had to take some drastic measures to cover our tracks during this
hobgoblin minions war in order to cover our tracks and move our military
supplies and troops around. My sincere thanks goes out to my cousin Zaspergoo
who came up with the idea of breading steroid injected chickens. Those evil
minors were everywhere but all they saw were large chicken marks in the sand
our dirt. Our Rangers, Warriors, Vampires, and Thieves were all quite
comfortable riding in the birch bark baskets we made.
To our delight and surprise, the newly hatched eggshells made wonderful
rafts to float us down the rivers and even the rapids. Once arrived, the same
shells served as comfortable hiding places for our troops and supplies. From a
high perch, we were able to spot our enemy easily. I was astounded at how well
those chickens fought the evil hobgoblins, their beaks were so sharp and
deadly that it was easy for us to take aim at our targets and the war was
quickly won. Still I must ask all of you to be very careful, I don't trust
those minors one bit. Our chickens and warriors will remain on guard high up
in our nests where we can see everything.

Handmaiden Isarda Elyaviel has travelled from the seas of the Coral
Kingdom, Maarninniach to become the new administrator of the City of
Mathlaan. The Coral Throne has also assigned new wingships and an army
to Mathlaan as part of the reform to be implemented.
This is part of her speech to the People of Mathlaan on her inauguration.
"Citizens of Mathlaan, it is a great honor to be placed by her Majesty,
the Coral Throne, as the new Speaker and Admministrator of this beautiful
City. I have not come across such an well-kept City, budding with life,
trade and culture. Especially the culture, Mathlaan has such wonderful
culture imbued into all her buildings, her food, her songs and festivals.
I hope with my administration for this year, the City will become even
more fruitful and we will establish more trade and good relationships
with the other Nations of the Realms."

As a result of the reform, a new Mathlaan Council is called for with
openings in all positions. All former existing Councilseat holders will
be recalled back to Maarninniach for a shuffling of duties to other

The Aerandir Nation is pleased to announce these following candidates
who were undergoing the Lien'eiaur elchuu, the Coming of Age Quest.

Candidates will be awarded the ilarvanua coral beads upon successful
completion of their Lien. These beads are made with the precious
'vanuaiellys', a coral so white, it shines like the moon beneath the
ocean's waters. Seven small coral beads are strung together to be worn
with a braided lock of hair near to the ear with the rest of the earring
trailing down the ear itself.

Aerandir Nation will be looking towards the Human Nation for a much-
awaited discussion of the trade between the two Nations. Many homeland
traders and businessmen are already stocking up pearls, fish products
and oilskins in anticipation of the new trade agreements that would
possibly be signed.
Insider news from the Ivory Tower Council has leaked out a notice that
Handmaiden Isarda may possibly be meeting with dark elf politicans.
This has caused quite a stir amongst the older generation as such
associations with the Moripendi were highly avoided since the colony
was first established as a fishing town. This rumor has subjected
the Handmaiden to the judgement of her citizens to whether she is
really a dark elf in fish skin.

With both joy and sorrow, the nation of Nidaros welcomed home her soldiers.
Our stolen children were returned safely to their parents but the lives of
five of our Kin were taken in the process.
Carved now into our Tree of History are the gilded names of Draven, Nob, Ratha,
Evin and Kirst, along with the tale of what they gave their lives for. They
will be sorely missed.
Our Nations Wisdom, Tiniegh, and our Nations Hope, Nackle are reported to be
recovering from injuries received during the rescue with no worries of
permanent ailments.
Our Nations Compassion, Ainsley Willowbreeze, has resigned from her post.
Applications are now being taken to fill her position on the council and any
interested should contact either Tiniegh or Farlina.
Bontis Holly, our local Matchmaker would like to thank everyone who turned out
for the Courtship Day festivities. Lots of fun was had by all who attended
and several couples made their commitments known. Weddings this summer and
fall are expected.

discussion, offered the position of Chief Diplomat to once exiled drow,
Malystix Tinesuil. The rationale behind this move was simple: appoint a
drow comfortable with the surface races to deal -with- the surface races.
Malystix is pleased to join the Nation, in the service of the Valsharess,
and as Patron of House Ul'Ilindith. Ul'Ilindith, which means 'destiny'
is a grand old house that has raised many a great member of Ilythiiri Nation.
Sadal Desh'Thiere continues to rebuild the shattered Shar'Golhyrr, Iniquity's
trade school. For information on this project, please approach him or Suliss

This past month, news reached the Valsharess of the death of Desidio Streea,
one of the Nation's greatest citizens. He was co-founder of House
Veldrin'Velve in the Nation's infancy, Blade of Lloth, and the Weapons Master
of the Nation. He has gone to the arms of the Spider Queen where he may
continue to serve Her in his new existence. Desidio was also the father of
the current Valsharess and devoted husband of the late Matron Caeliet.

Life in the Vale is peaceful as Spring descends upon the citizens of Nidaros.
Planting is now in full swing and many of the flowering trees are reaching
peak bloom.
Granny Anrykas shop is brimming with hot bubbly pies, fresh sourdough bread
and luscious chocolate tortes and Trevanes is open for all your clothing needs.
Many of the shops are offering spring time specials and the council would like
to remind those citizens who are running short on seeds that community stores
are available to those in need.
As a reminder, coaxing deer into the city proper is not a welcome practice.
If you wish to watch deer, please visit the meadow to do so as several
citizens have complained that the deer are eating gardens and trampling flower
beds.
Thank you to everyone that made our Planting Day festivities a fun and
eventful time.

Dateline Darkhaven - The Winter Festival
Duke Luther sent invitations to Klaatu and Raj to attend the Duke's Winter
Festival in the Castle. Upon arrival, Raj snooped through the ballroom and
gardens looking for anything of interest or value. Klaatu, meanwhile checked
out the banquet table and its assortment of exotic victuals. Raj reported to
Klaatu about a strange fountain flowing with a sweet pink liquid. Klaatu gave
Raj a nudge and pointed to some objects poorly hidden under the banquet table.
They made their way to the table and discovered a crate with various dWARven
ales. Grinning at each other, they quickly helped themselves. Somewhat later
as the cloud of contentment lifted, Klaatu heard yells of "Murder!". Stumbling
to his feet and noticing Raj was missing, Klaatu feared the worse. Finding the
crowd around a body, Klaatu peered over the over their shoulders and sighed in
relief. The Ambassador to Solace was laying there with an Ofcol dagger sticking
out. Some of the party goers decided to investigate the murder themselves.
Several of the Ambassadors from the various cities were interogated. Clues were
searched for and even the small bunny with the red ribbon was examined closely.
After accusations of many, by many, one of the Merchants broke down and gave
a full confession. The Merchant was summarily executed 'Realms' style.
Only later did Klaatu find out what became of Raj. And that is another story.

There's no quest for this issue, simply because I promised a prize for
everyone, and I haven't had the time to think of a quest good enough. I
would rather give a good quest next month than a terrible quest.

This has been quite the active month in PK! Theres been a huge influx of new
"valuable" eq thrown into the pk only society club! I could relate it to being
a car owner in florida. Theres people running around ghetto and yet wielding
a stray DFB or wearing a DI. Of course easy come easy go. Such as dying to an
Excordis Mage and another excordis (Ghetto) due to lack of a spell called
Sanctuary. I wonder if its necessary to say ghetto with excordis due to its
synomonous nature HO HO. Speaking of Excordis when o lord will Miyaki be
returned to us? Hes not such a bad fellow but the ALMIGHTIES will decide
his fate. Catarrh's activity has seemed to downgrade since
Xanedribu lost 3 artifacts to Feralis! Oh boy he was pissed! Maleficae is
a lurking threat with heavily eq'd fighters such as Garbozas and
Perrault. Another tale of DFBS. At tbis point I would have to say all the
clans are pretty even. Perhaps. None the less from my own point of view I was
quite happy with desecrating Catarrh's Artifact with my own thoughts of love
and joy. Also on the loose is a lowbie named Ahtareh who is plaguing the lowbie
pkill/leveling status.

I have heard of a story where he actually took down 3 people in a 6 vs 1
And this coming from my own clanmates. Horrid. I can't wait to fight this
elusive unclanned motherbaby. One day indeed! SO, what have we learned?
Theres alot of hot eq floating around for the taking if you're skilled
as lets say our lowbie unclannie friend.
Also, if your character has ghetto glory, you can desecrate the description
of a clans artifact if you're a terrible jerk!

As you have noticed, this Cry issue is heinously late. I am deeply sorry.
Truth is I just got overwhelmed with work, uni and other committments that I
just could not find the time to do the Cry. I want to assure you all that
Genge and I are working out a solution to the problem, and there will be
stability in the Cry by the next issue by whatever means are neccessary.
I again apologise and all hate mail can be delivered to me.
