Interview with Dria
When discussing the realms with a builder, one may often
get caught up in technical discussions about architecture and
design. When discussing the realms with a builder who is also
an advocate of role playing and a poet, the discussion becomes
animated and alive as you delve into what make the realm live and
breathe. When discussing the realms with Dria, the immortal
responsible for Midway, the realms will become a incomplete work
of art. Her love for the Realm and its possibilities is obvious,
as is the reason she is such a high ranking Imm.
Dria has been in the Realms for just about four years, and has
long passed a point where she is concerned with achieving promotion
or titles. At level 59, she can do just about all that is
possible for an avatar to do.
Dria says 'At this point I can do everything I need to do
really, it's never really been about the levels for
me except for wanting new things I can do."
Dria continues "When you first imm it seems like a competition,
after a while you realize that it's not."
Dria acknowledges proudly that building in the realms has
become more exciting and rewarding, as more attention is given
to story lines and player interactions. Giving older players
and newbies alike a chance to be awed and challenged during
Dria says 'The mud has evolved alot, it enables builders
to do new and interesting things that we never could do before."

Midway, Dria's fine addition to the realm is a very popular
area. She relates how the area was meant to be as transient
as any other traveling carnival, changing as it comes in
and out of town. She gets plenty of tells asking her when it
will be back, but like all boys and girls, realmers must be
patient and well behaved if they wish to make it to Midway.
Dria is a fan of role play, and that explains her wish
that the realm be more spontaneous, interactive, adventurous.
"I would love to see truly interactive mobs, that's a dream
of mine. It won't ever happen but it would be fantastic," she says
smiling. "I would defintely love to see more role playing,
different types of questin...more adventure, more unpredictability."

Laughing, she remembers her most favorite role playing story line
Where a druid was going through the realms convinced she was a vampire.
She can't remember the characters name, but still chuckles at the
memory of the great role playing.
she really was a druid, it was fantastic, she was one of the best
role players I know," she says, slightly caught up in the memory.
Dria had some wise words for those seeking Immortality.
If you want to do it just because you think it'd be cool, you
probably shouldn't."
Dria has two more areas in the works that she's hoping will
be incorporated into the game. She did offer a small hint about one
of them. It will be an island...not necessarily hard for hack and
slackers, but challenging for those looking for a deep story
and sophisticated puzzles.
Its obvious that she loves the realms and is willing to give
of herself to further its evolution.

Interview with Guild of Warriors 1st (Chantria)
What do you think a good leader should do?
Chantria: work for his/her people in other words I believe a good leader
needs to listen to the people, no leader is a leader without the support
of his/her group, a leader needs to guide, not dictate listen to all...
and act upon the needs of the whole
Since you did not intend on becoming guild second what do you think
the guild saw in putting you in here?
Chantria: perhaps a chance for fair and honest treatment.
What are some of the pressures of bring a guild leader?
Chantria: The continuous requests for information the neverending tells
the constant demand on time
What are some of your duties as a guild leader?
Chantria: primarily i oversee two of our councils, Mentoring and IT.
as well as responsible for inductions and help that is needed by
a guildee and am responsible for the actions of all guildies amongest
other things including being a councillor if the need arises
i also now assist in the paper editorial and will be helping in that area.
Whats the biggest problem you have come across as a leader?
Chantria: The biggest problem i have had was removing my guildmistress
when i was guild second.
Do you have any plans for the guild?
Chantria: yes actually...
I would like to see the guild participate more in the Nations activities
I would like to see us become more advanced and running tougher mobs
aiding other guilds, and combining our strengths to better achieve all
of our goals
we could and can compliment each other by working together
I thought this would be a good note to end on,
Chantria: All i have ever really wanted was for this guild to make it
to be happy, it think that has been obtained, now it is time for it to grow.

I am very new to the realms. I've reached level 10, |`
but I'm having a hard time meeting new people. Everyone seems |
to already have a clique or group of people they associate with.
Every time I meet someone around my level, they are hanging
around avatars already. I'm too young to join most guilds
and orders. Do you have any suggestions..I enjoy the Realms,
but its too large of a place when you're by yourself.

The immortal Serina hosted a battle of might and wits between the teams of
Guild of Vampires/Guild of Druids against the Guild of Thieves/Guild of Clerics
The battle was off to a late start, and the Clerics and Thieves were short
one fighter each, but the battle continued, a testament to the bravery of both
the Clerics and the Thieves. The clerics were the first to fall to the Druids
and Vampires, leaving the Thieves without means of healing. The thieves fell
next, fighting with all of their strength until the last man fell. The Druids,
Zaren, Kama, Zooh and Sion and their Vampire team mates, Drachenfeld,
Tefnanynimuk, Ubanzyban and Fannalynn were victorious and were regalled with
the proper spoils of war. The thieves Fadnazail, Solomen, Grendimix and
Elisabet and their fallen Cleric companions, Sepros, Giko Akael and Coil were
remembered honorably for their bravery.

A Mother's Day Tribute
What is a mother? A mother is a woman who has the ability to
care and love others, especially her children, unconditionally.
Mother's Day was created as a day to celebrate mothers because
we, the children, often forget the importance of the mother
figure in our life. Without our mother, we wouldn't even be
here. It's true that mothers can be a pain at times but that
doesn't mean she can't be the coolest person in the world. Most
of us let the arguments with our mothers cloud the fact that our
mothers care and love us no matter what we do. To the people
who have a good relationship with their mothers, cheers! To the
people who lost that precious mother-daughter/son
relationship, please mend it because you'd find out that your
mother cares for you more than anyone else in the world.

Love
Love is a commonly used word. However, what is love? That's a million
dollar question. According to the dictionaries that I looked in, it's a
noun and a verb. It means "deep affection and warm feeling for another,"
"the emotion of romance, a strong fondness," and to like or desire.
I've also heard some people said that love is a word created by Hallmark Inc.
to sell cards. It's an easy word to remember and an easy word to say. Some
people say I love you as easy as they say "ABC." On the other hand, some
people are afraid of the word love. Those people act as though love would
come after them and hunt them down to harm them. Love has different reactions
depending on the gender, except in some special cases. A woman would think
it's a sweet, caring, romantic word. A man would think it's just a word
probably a scary word. If a woman were to tell a man she loves him, he'd
cringe and try to flee. If a man were to tell a woman that he loves her,
which is almost never, the woman would be devoted to the man You can say the
word love made Hollywood famous. If you were to spontaneously turn on the
television and watch a show, you'd notice that no matter what kind of show
it is, love would be there. Hollywood live off of the word love. I
think it's safe to say that all Hollywood movies have a type of love in it.
Titanic, for example, is a tragic historical event. James Cameron saw it
differently. He saw love stories and decided to make a movie about a love
story. The movie Titanic was a success at the box office not because it
was a tragic historical event but a love story between Rose and Jack.
How can a four-letter word be sweet, caring, and scary at the same time?
I wish I knew the answer to that question because the word love confuses me
too. For me, love is a word that's indescribable. Love's a feeling and so I
can't look at it and describe it. I guess that's why the question "What is
love? so hard to answer. Does it exist? I don't know yet but I'm sure that
it won't be long until I find out the truth.

Greetings to all of the Realms. I would like to take this
opportunity in which to inform you of a few changes that
have been made within our Order.
On May 2nd, Barabbas (our #2 Leader) decided to retire. His great
leadership ability, inspirations, aspirations, and desire to make
our order the best in the realms, will be sadly missed. I speak
for the order when I say "Barabbas, you have been a good friend,
confidant, and Leader. We all wish you only the best as you
ease into retirement. You will not be forgotten." Barabbas has
now been given the title of Arcane Elder, a prestigious title
to be bestowed on those few who have contributed to the growth of our
order.
Secondly, Thulkinn Krogenstar, Lead Scout, shall be hence forth
known as Lord Thulkinn Krogenstar, Number Two, Order of Arcanes.
If you see him on, please feel free to congratulate him. (Tells
